As a wedding photographer, I get to witness and capture some truly unique and special moments. Malcolm and Pamela’s engagement session was a perfect blend of classic elegance and personal touch, and it was a joy to document their story.

We started our day at the Library of Congress at sunrise. The early morning light cast a soft, golden glow over the historic building, creating a magical backdrop for their photos. Pamela, dressed in a classic white off-the-shoulder silk dress with a thigh-high split, white pumps, and white gloves, looked absolutely stunning. Her outfit, paired with Malcolm's sharp black suit and white shirt, gave the entire session a chic, editorial feel. After capturing the timeless elegance outside the Library of Congress, we moved to the Supreme Court building. The transition from the grandeur of the library to the stately architecture of the Supreme Court was seamless. Our next stop was The Wharf, where we took advantage of the scenic pier for a more relaxed and natural setting. The vibrant, yet serene environment provided a perfect contrast to the earlier, more formal locations. Malcolm and Pamela’s comfort with each other was evident as they laughed and enjoyed the moment by the water.

To wrap up their engagement session, we visited District Donuts at The Wharf. Knowing that donuts would be a special feature at their reception, they wanted to incorporate this personal detail into their photos. Pamela and Malcolm’s joy as they enjoyed their favorite treats was infectious, and the playful setting of the donuts shop added a fun and personal touch to their engagement photos.
